1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by Hatej Tourism ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

2. Services Provided
Hatej Tourism provides adventure tourism services throughout Canada, including but not limited to:
- Guided hiking and trekking tours
- Cultural experience tours
- Wildlife viewing expeditions
- Northern Lights tours
- Photography tours
- Custom adventure experiences
- Corporate retreat services
- Transportation and accommodation arrangements
3. Booking and Payment Terms
3.1 Booking Process
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or through our website
- A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of required deposit and signed agreement
- We reserve the right to reject any booking at our discretion
- Group size limitations apply to all tours (maximum 8 participants unless otherwise specified)
3.2 Payment Terms
- Deposit: 25% deposit required to secure booking
- Final Payment: Due 30 days before tour departure
- Accepted Payment Methods: Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), bank transfer, certified cheque
- Currency: All prices quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD)
- Late Payment: Bookings may be cancelled for non-payment
3.3 Pricing
- All prices are subject to applicable taxes (HST/GST)
- Prices may change due to currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or government fees
- Price increases will not apply to confirmed bookings with deposit paid
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 60 days: Full refund minus 5% administrative fee
- 31-60 days: 75% refund
- 15-30 days: 50% refund
- 8-14 days: 25% refund
- Less than 7 days: No refund
4.2 Company Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel tours due to:
- Insufficient enrollment (minimum 2 participants required)
- Weather conditions or safety concerns
- Force majeure events
- Government restrictions or advisories
In case of company cancellation, customers will receive full refund or option to reschedule.
5. Health and Safety Requirements
5.1 Health Declarations
- Customers must disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation
- Proof of adequate physical fitness may be required for strenuous activities
- Customers must follow all safety instructions provided by guides
- We reserve the right to exclude participants who pose safety risks
5.2 Insurance Requirements
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be mandatory for certain tours
- Customers are responsible for ensuring adequate coverage
- Company liability insurance covers specific risks as outlined in our policy
6. Liability and Risk
6.1 Assumption of Risk
Important: Adventure tourism activities involve inherent risks. Customers acknowledge and assume these risks by participating.
- Outdoor activities carry risks of injury, illness, or death
- Weather conditions may create additional hazards
- Wildlife encounters pose potential dangers
- Remote locations may limit emergency response times
6.2 Limitation of Liability
- Company liability is limited to the cost of services provided
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Third-party supplier liability is governed by their own terms
- Customers participate at their own risk
7. Code of Conduct
All participants must adhere to our code of conduct:
- Environmental Responsibility: Follow Leave No Trace principles
- Respectful Behavior: Treat guides, other participants, and local communities with respect
- Cultural Sensitivity: Respect indigenous traditions and sacred sites
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety instructions and guidelines
- Group Dynamics: Maintain pace with group and follow itinerary
Violation of conduct may result in removal from tour without refund.
8. Changes and Substitutions
- Itineraries may change due to weather, safety, or logistical reasons
- We will provide comparable alternatives when possible
- No compensation for minor itinerary changes
- Significant changes may qualify for partial refund
- Customers will be notified of changes as soon as possible
9. Photography and Media
- Company may photograph/video participants during tours
- Images may be used for marketing purposes unless customer opts out
- Customers retain rights to their personal photographs
- Professional photography services available on select tours
- Drone usage subject to Transport Canada regulations and permits
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellation or modification of services due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
- Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions
- Government actions, travel advisories, border closures
- Labor disputes, strikes
- Pandemics, health emergencies
- Acts of terrorism or war
- Technical failures or infrastructure issues
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Our advertising practices comply with Google Ads policies:
- All advertising content is truthful and substantiated
- We do not make exaggerated or misleading claims
- Customer testimonials represent genuine experiences
- Pricing information is accurate and up-to-date
- We maintain transparency in our business practices
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
